Consortium Overview
The National NeuroAIDS Tissue Consortium so far has enlisted 3,350 participants in its clinical evaluation/tissue donation program. As of June 22, 2023, central nervous system specimens from 1,466 of HIV-infected and control subjects are available. Of HIV-positive participants, 2,126 have at least one plasma sample available, 1,244 have at least three serial plasma samples, and 1,500 have at least one CSF sample available. These numbers change as new samples are added and some of the collected samples are distributed. Please refer to our COHORT REPORTS PowerPoint presentation for more complete details.
